WELCOME
Dear Friend,
Change is afoot in U. S. large public policy issues.
How can we make sense of the debate in health care, energy, finance, environment, education?
How will these choices affect us?
What is the role of regulation?
We have been again invited by Northwestern University by President Henry Bienen as well as President-Elect Morton Schapiro to a stimulating seminar on 'Change in US Public Policy Issues'. The eight-part series will be held on eight Wednesdays beginning September 23rd through November 18th at the Chicago Campus at the Robert H. Lurie Medical Research Center in Chicago.
Northwestern is uniquely positioned to compare and analyze ideas through its collaborative medical, management, law, economist, environmental, and social scientists faculties. Lynne Kiesling, Senior Lecturer in Economics and the Kellogg School of Management, will coordinate distinguished faculty on in-depth subjects.
Refreshments are at 9:00 a.m., followed by a lecture from 9:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and then a complimentary lunch. Each series registrant is invited to bring a guest for one lecture during the series. The November 11th session will be the evening event, and you are invited to bring a spouse or guest on that day as well.
This invitation is for you personally. The class is comprised of very busy people who travel personally and professionally. Each two-hour seminar will be audio-recorded. All course participants will receive the complete library of CDs part of their registration.
This course, in its 34th year, always attracts extraordinary people who love to learn about important and timely issues in depth. Hope you will be able to participate!
Most sincerely,

Shirley Welsh Ryan
